Life Log: 9 November 2023

Today marks the day I created my own personal web page. My own little corner of the net. I was inspired to do this by my love of series like .hack and MegaMan Battle Network, but also by how much media from the 2000s I've seen lately that shows characters having their own personal web pages. I thought it might be nice to do the same for myself. Could be a good way to categorize and articulate the various thoughts I have and a good way to finally get myself to consistently write something about life. I've tried diaries in the past, both physical and digital, but if I don't place some sort of mandate on regularly writing a Life Log, then I won't feel as annoyed if I don't write one. It is in this vein that I've created the various categories seen on the main page of the blog. I still need to do a few things before I officially unveil it to anyone (though who knows if I'll do even that), chief among those being:

For that third item, I'm thinking this might be a decent place to store some of the fanfic I've written, though I think AO3 works just fine at the moment, too. Perhaps I could use it to share other things I create? If I ever got around to drawing again, for instance, I could post the drawings on a separate page. Of course, most of this is for my own benefit given nobody really knows about this page just yet, but it could be a good way of seeing how I improve as I delve into drawing again. Of course, that all hinges on if I ever draw again. Additionally, I really want this page to resemble how web pages in the 90s and 2000s looked, perhaps with a spin to reflect my own cosmic interests (and maybe a slight flair akin to the look of the internet within MegaMan Battle Network and .hack), but that will also take quite a bit of time. Even when I do, I'll probably leave this page looking as it did when I created it, for the sake of posterity. The exact look of this web page, and how I'll even get it to look the way I want it to, will take some extra research.

I'll have to figure it all out in due time. Until then, this is Cosmos, signing out.
